Hi, we have hired a villa in L'Ametlla de Mar, Tarragona to celebrate my mothers 80th birthday.

The villa is for 36 people and we would like to hire a singer for her birthday on 7th August.  She likes Frank Sinatra/Carpenters/Dean Martin - I would be grateful if you could recommend anyone whom you think I might be able to contact.  We would also like to have a cook/chef in for the evening to cook for us all - so again recommendations would be very grateful.

I've just joined this forum as I am looking at the possibility of moving from the Islands to the mainland and L'Ametlla de Mar has my attention.

I am wondering what it is like there in the winter, I LOVE the quiet life, but don't want to live in a ghost town during the winter months. Are bars/restaurants/shops etc open there ?

Also, are there many English people living there?

Hello! I m a spanish mum with two children ( 4 and 10 years old), i would like to met english friends to play in the beach and make activities together. We have been in Alicante this summer to improve our english in a native family. We use to come to Calafell in weekends, i offer my spanish ( also economist vocabulary, reflexology formation and others , help with spanish administration too).
