Taxi Prices From Barcelona Airport

Hi

I will be visiting with my family in August and am looking at options for getting to where we are staying (L'Hospitalet de l'Infant).

I have obviously looked at car hire but this may be a bit pricey as I will only be probably using it to get to the airport and back and maybe a day in Barcelona.

Do you have any ideas on taxi prices?

Looking at buses/trains seems a little confusing at the moment but wouldn't rule this out.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I know about coaches from Barcelona airport to Salou but don't know about onwards to Hospitalitet

Maybe uber would be cheaper, but agree train or bus best option. Peoole speak English at the airport so would give you details of where to go.

Many thanks Des for your reply, surprised at how cheap the train is. Good to know there is a train station near by, do you know how often the trains run into Barcelona?

They run every 30 minutes from the airport to Barcelona Sants and every 90, or 120, minutes South from Sants

Barcelona Sants is a big station with plenty of food outlets, McD etc, in case you're stuck there for a while

Here is a link to the timetable

It’s looking increasingly likely that I am going to hire a car.

Having a quick look earlier it didn’t seem that you could get a train early morning from Hospitalitet to Barcelona and then get a late train back , I.E spend a full day in Barcelona and still be able to get back to the place we are staying. Does that seem about right to you?
