We going to be staying at Hotel Cala Font in Salou for 9 days beginning on Saturday May 4th and we would like to know where we can meet the local English speaking people and engage in any organised social activities such as charity nights, quizzes, tennis etc. We have never been to Tarragona province before, but we do live 9 months of the year in Fuengirola, Costa del Sol, and we spend summers in Kent. Any local pointers would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to hearing from you Salou residents. Adrian & Antonia

We are a couple moving to the area for the summer July August 2024 . We both have jobs but we are finding accommodation very very expensive. If anyone knows of a reasonably price apartment ( 1000€) per month that would be wonderful.We are very excited to tip our feet into the water with a view to living here full time Irish ☘️ weather and all that

Hi all , I am new to this site. I am looking to move out to spain with my family, preferably the Costa Dorada Region . I would like any advice on fi dong work out there , My Spanish is Un poco amd my English is Fluent. I am currently learning the Spanish language, so hoping to improve as I go . Can anyone reccomend anywhere to look to for jobs in the following fields that do not require much Spanish to start with - Hotel Staff / Bar work / Ground keeper.

I’m staying in a villa in Tres Cales and don’t have a car. Are there local buses running between Tres Cales and L’Ametlla de mar? If so when do they run and how frequently? Any info on local transport would be appreciated greatly.Is there a coastal walk from Tres Cales to L’Ametlla de Mar?
